Important Information
Jun. 25th, 2013 04:59 pmI normally quite like reading about other people's fandom, even when I know nothing about the canon. But all the talk about Hannibal (the TV show about the serial killer) is giving me cognitive dissonance regarding Hannibal (the character in the Benjamin January novels).
"Hannibal is completely evil."
No, he's a nice guy! He doesn't always do as much as he could, but evil- wait, never mind, I just figured out what you're talking about.
"Hannibal is such a perfect portrayal of a pretentious foodie."
Really? But he doesn't even seem to eat that much, what makes you say that- oh, right, right, figured it out.
"I like imaging Hannibal as Shaw's psychologist."
WHAT. Hannibal should be NO ONE's Psychologist, much less Shaw's, how would that even work- oh. Right.
Endlessly!
