I wanna redo my LJ's layout, everyone has such pretty new ones.

But I have a question: what do people think about using doujinishi scans? It's unethical to use fanart, I know and I agree, but... does that count as fanart? It's fairly unreasonable to assume I'd be able to get in touch with the people who drew it, though I'd give them credit and all. So would it be okay for me to use it?

And btw, I'm not talking about citrus-y scans here, just some of the pretty pictures that tend to show up on the covers or first few pages.

I would think it would be okay, as long as they were published and sold and stuff. Professional doujinshi, if that's not a contradiction in terms.

And no citrus? Darn. ^_^
