Okay. I think... I think I'm finished with my fic. *stares at it out of the corner of her eyes, half-expecting it to take the opportunity to burst into flames or delete itself from the hard-drive*

Yeah. I think it's as re-written as it's going to get. So yay! It feels like I've been working on this forever.

Of course, in five minutes I'm probably going to change my mind and decide that I need to wait a day and then look at it to see if I still like it. But for now, I'm happy.

*cheers* I'm sure it's great. It's hard to look at a story objectively when you've been fiddling with it for so long; I am sometimes amazed, when I reread old stories of mine that died in the revision process, at how much they /don't/ suck.

Heh, well, it's not done in the sense of being done, just in the sense of I've stopped obessively rewriting it. It still needs a beta and for me to write author's notes and post it up.
