You made the night, I lit the lamp in it.
You made the clay, I moulded it into a goblet.
In the wild wastes, mountains and forests that you made
Orchards, flower beds and gardens have I laid
It is I who ground stones and turned them into mirrors,
It is I who out of poison extracted its antidote.
