Here are my recs for fandoms N-Z (plus a two earlier in the alphabet that I forgot to rec last time). Fandoms include: The Brothers Sinister Series - Courtney Milan, Chris Bucholz Advice Columns (Cracked.com), Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen, Only Lovers Left Alive, Parks and Recreation, Penny Dreadful, Psmith - P. G. Wodehouse, Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch, Road to El Dorado, Sleepy Hollow, The Tempest - Shakespeare, Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold, Werewolf Marines - Lia Silver, @WorstMuse

The Christmas Box, The Brothers Sinister Series - Courtney Milan, Amanda Ellisford/Genevieve Johnson, E rated, 3k. A really lovely, sweet (and hot!) post-canon ending for these two. I love the historical details, but the established relationship and how warm and close it feels is just wonderful. Plus, femslash! Always awesome.

So You Woke Up in a Slash Fanfic, Chris Bucholz Advice Columns (Cracked.com), G rated, 1.2k. Oh my god, this was hilarious! It gently mocks coffeeshop AUs in the best way, and the use of images is just perfect.

An Unlikely Heroine, Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen, Catherine Morland, G rated, 3.3k. In which Catherine is confronted with an actual murder. This is really sweet and well-observed, and I love Catherine's balance between strength and weakness.

When the Lips and Skin Remember , Only Lovers Left Alive, Adam/Eve/Ian, T rated, 9.6k. An AU where Ian doesn't die, but becomes a vampire. This is lovely and poetical in much the style of the movie, and has a sweet slow-burn relationship. The world-building and character details are all really well-done.

A Love Once New, Parks and Recreation, April/Andy, G rated, 1.1k. Three times April and Andy met before they dated, and once after. Hilarious and adorable, just like the show. The characters sounds exactly like themselves.

Misadventures in Babysitting, Parks and Recreation, April/Andy, G rated, 1.9k. April and Andy babysit for Ben and Leslie, and it goes exactly as you'd expect. Another hilarious, perfectly in-character story, with bonus cute kids.

A Strange, Subtle Alchemy, Penny Dreadful, Victor Frankenstein, T rated, 1.3k. A/B/O world-building in the Penny Dreadful universe! I love this idea, and it's as creepy and fucked-up as the show itself. A wonderful AU.

Teranga, Penny Dreadful, Sembene, T rated, 6.5k. Sembene backstory. Deep and complicated and fascinating, this is a wonderful fleshing-out of a character we got so little of on the show. An amazing story.

The Grand Tour, Psmith - P. G. Wodehouse, Psmith/Mike, T rated, 3.3k. Psmith and Mike travel across Europe; there is bed-sharing and sleeping in a barn and self-sacrifice and every wonderful trope. A great, charming story.

Psmith and the Greek Spirit, Psmith - P. G. Wodehouse, Psmith/Mike, T rated, 4.6k. An adorable story, full of pining and subtle attraction. Plus an incredibly sweet ending!

The Art School in Bromley, Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch, G rated, 4.8k. Nightingale goes undercover as an art student to solve a case. This story has a fantastic Peter voice, and a lot of great, subtle character moments. Funny and sad and so well done.

Christmas of London, Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch, Peter/Nightingale, M rated, 4.7k. Peter and Nightingale deal with the spirit of Father Christmas, what turns out not to be a love spell, and a night in Buckingham Palace. A sweet and charming story.

a country you remember, Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch, Molly, G rated, 1.4k. Molly backstory. This is lovely and sad, and the voice is so perfectly Molly. Really wonderful.

Shelter, Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch, Peter/Nightingale, E rated, 2.1k. Peter and Nightingale deal with the ending of Broken Homes; this is lovely and tragic and wonderful. A completely believable, tender story.

Confidence Artists, Road to El Dorado, Chel/Miguel/Tulio, E rated, 10.7k. Oh my god, this story is so amazing. The banter is perfect, as is the tension still lingering from the events of the movie, and its eventual resolution. It's got a con, great observations of Spain, excellent Chel POV, hot sex. Seriously, read this story! It is just SO GOOD.

Will Ever Be As One, Road to El Dorado, Chel/Miguel/Tulio, G rated, 2.8k. Tulio gets lost; Miguel and Chel try not to worry. This has great character voices, and is sweet and funny and a fantastic epilogue to the movie.

Can't Pin You Down, Sleepy Hollow, Abbie/Ichabod, T rated, 7.8k. Abbie and Ichabod pose as a married couple to investigate mysterious violence in a couples bowling league. This is funny and insightful and just a great story. It's exactly the sort of thing I want out of the show.

a DAY OF PUBLICK THANKSGIVING and PRAYER, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, Sleepy Hollow, G rated, 3.9k. Isn't that the best title you've ever read? The rest of the story is just as great: it's like one of the best episodes. Lots of character interactions, great character voices, a monster with a cheesy backstory to be defeated, and a happy ending. Just awesome.

After She Wakes, The Tempest – Shakespeare, Miranda, T rated, 1.2k. Miranda has to adjust to life on the world off of Prospero's island. This was just a fantastic exploration of her character, and I want this to be canon so badly. I love Miranda's confusion and then growing power.

All Public Duties, Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold, Aral/Simon, M rated, 1.9k. Set during Aral's self-destructive phase in Shards of Honor, this is a heart-breaking and sweet story. I really liked Simon's POV on these events.

the star to every wandering bark, Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold, Cordelia/Aral, G rated, 3.9k. Cordelia foils a plot. This is hilarious and perfect, with darker undertones. An excellent story.

Blank Pages, Werewolf Marines - Lia Silver, Echo and Charlie, M rated, 3k. Charlie comforts Echo after a mission. This has fantastic character voices, and I love all the backstory you can feel between the characters, particularly in how they rewrite Little Women. Really touching and well-written.

Diamond in a Coal Mine, Werewolf Marines - Lia Silver, DJ/Echo, E rated, 4.5k. A really amazing story that sounds just like the canon. DJ is hilarious, the action is tense and suitably angsty, and sex that is sweet and hot. Fantastic!

There Are No Return Slips For Muses, @WorstMuse, G rated, 1.3k. Delia's muse has the worst ideas. However, some of them are quite profitable. This was so funny, and a great fit to the twitter account.
