Thank you for signing up for one of my fandoms! This is my first year doing Ship Swap, and I'm very excited to read what you write or see what you draw. Feel free to ignore any part of this letter that doesn't work for you; just use what (if any) you find helpful. I'm much less experienced with giving art prompts, but please don't think that means I want art less! If you need more information or would like to ask a question, feel free to leave an anon comment or email me. My AO3 name is Brigdh, and so is my email (at gmail).

I'm completely fine with a G-rated and mostly gen story/art; something with a few kisses and fade-to-black; or filthy, filthy porn. I like it all!

General things I like: action, angst, anti-heroes, banter, backstory, case fic, character studies, clever dialogue and wordplay, curtainfic and domesticity, endings happy sad or bittersweet, difficult and complex relationships, epistolary stories, established relationships, fairy tales, five things, found families, friendship, geeks, H/C, humor, missing scenes, people with flaws, pining, road trips, unreliable narrators, unspoken feelings, AUs both canon-divergent and entirely off-the-wall (some particular AUs I like are: pirates, any historical period, Robin Hood/conmen/criminals, rebels, steampunk, cyberpunk, apocalypses, daemons, Rule 63, arranged marriages, and circuses).

General dislikes: jealousy, mpreg, overly sappy weddings/marriage proposals. That's... kind of it! I'm a pretty easy-going reader.

Don't feel obligated to write me porn! But if you want to, here are some things I like about sex specifically: rough sex with biting and bruising, sex up against a wall, sex in a place where the participants might be overheard and they have to try very hard to stay quiet, people holding their partner down during sex. I also like sex that is playful and silly and allows for laughter, and where everything doesn't go right. Intimate deep-feelings romantic sex is of course also fantastic! I like crossdressing (both men in women's clothing and women in men's), someone dressing against their normal type (so, someone who normally dresses casually getting all dressed up, or the opposite, someone who normally wears formal clothes wearing something old and worn), all sorts of general elaborate clothing descriptions, people helping one another get dressed or undressed, people wearing their partner's clothes, people having sex while still wearing most of their clothes. Anything with hair: playing with it, pulling on it, washing it, combing it, braiding it for someone else. People helping one another bathe, and sex in bathtubs or showers or swimming pools. I like sex that is non-penetrative: oral sex, frottage, hand jobs, fingering, mutual masturbation, intercrural... basically anything you can come up with! Though penetrative sex is super hot, too, and feel free to write it, I just don't like when people treat that as the only "real" kind of sex. I like writing or painting or drawing on skin, and descriptions of tattoos or scars. I prefer established relationships, but fumbly first-time sex is very good too. Dirty talk is SUPER HOT. I love cheesy sex-pollen/fuck-or-die/heat type situations. Body worship, especially focused on wrists or hips or necks is always hot. I love super dramatic OTT h/c, with a character being captured and tormented physically and emotionally by Bad Guys before being saved and comforted with sex. I like extremes of weather and temperature: sex in the rain, sex on a sticky-hot summer afternoon, preventing-hypothermia-in-the-winter sex.
Some other kinks I like: bondage or honor bondage/silence, blindfolds, pegging, breathplay, knifeplay, bloodplay, D/s, power exchanges, switching, orgasm delay or teasing or edging, threesomes and moresomes.

I don't have any squicks or triggers. There are plenty of kinks that I'm not particularly into, but if you can make a convincing argument that the characters are into it, I will love reading about it.

Ben/Rose/Hannibal is also totally okay with me! Some ideas for any two (or all three): I would be completely happy to read domestic fluff involving the three of them cooking and playing music and making dumb Latin jokes and critiquing opera. Case-fic and mysteries and adventures would also be great! I'm convinced that the three of them fighting the zombie apocalypse (brain-eating zombies, not voodoo zombies) would be an amazing fic. How did Hannibal and Rose's first meeting go? How about Hannibal teaching Rose to pick locks (and/or the two of them attempting to teach Ben!), and the sexy possibilities of that. What did Rose and Hannibal get up to while Ben was in DC during 'Good Man Friday'? I'd love to hear more about what Rose was thinking during 'Dead and Buried', and what she thinks about Hannibal's backstory. The world needs Ben/Hannibal huddling-for-warmth fic set during 'The Shirt on His Back'! Also furtive Ben/Hannibal make-outs in the backroom of some opera/ball/private party. Are there backstories to the nicknames Hannibal uses for them, Athene and amicus meus? Hannibal would be very willing to help either of them expand their sexual repertoire.

I would love this as either backstory from when they were young, or after they're both in New Orleans. Do they experiment with kissing/sex together? Does Cora offer to teach Rose something new? Do they have dramatic reunion sex either when Cora first comes to New Orleans, or after she's rescued at the end of 'Fever Season'? I'd love to see them reconnecting and catching up after their time apart. How does Rose feel about sex with women as opposed to sex with men? How does Cora feel about it, for that matter? How do their husbands fit in?

Dominique Viellard/Hannibal Sefton
They are gossipy flirtatious BFFs and I LOVE IT. I would love to see how sex works with that. Does Minou know some sex trick she offers to teach Hannibal? Does Hannibal help her prepare her clothing/make up/hair before a ball? Does she offer to comfort him after some other woman breaks up with him? Does he tease her about Henri (and/or Chloe)? Or maybe they're just totally platonic fuckbuddies who enjoy each other's company! Poetry and music and being charming and fashion and coffee would all be wonderful elements.

OH MAN I LOVE THESE TWO. I'd love to see how they first met, how they first began to fall in love, or how they dealt with being together while it was still a secret. Augustus teaching Madeleine something about swords or dueling or fighting would be BEAUTIFUL. Madeleine teaching him something about music would also be great. Something about gender is an obvious place to go with these two, and I would be really interested in exploring that. I'd also be very interested in something that gave Augustus more of a backstory- maybe he tells it to Madeleine? Or an event from his past relates to his present in some way.

YES GOOD WANT. I am happy to have Henri included or not, as you prefer. Chloe is so reserved and cool, and Minou so open and bubbly that I'd love just to see more of them interacting. Opposites attract! Something fluffy and sweet would be great, but so would something dealing with the social rules regarding wife and placee, or with how they've both been placed in positions where they had to trade sex for status (though in very different ways). How does Chloe feel about sex or romance? How would Minou deal with being the pursuer rather than the pursued?

Yes, yes, I love these two! I would LOVE canon-era fic, but AUs are also great. An AU that diverges from canon to allow for survival or a happy ending would be fantastic, but feel free to stay sad and have Eponine die on the barricade. A Cosette/Eponine/Marius threesome would also be very much to my taste. I've read the book, seen the 2012 movie, and seen a stage production, so feel free to base your story on any version.

Something sweet and friendly would be wonderful, but so would something angry and resentful, based on the bitter history these two have and the way their lives have intersected, the similarities and differences between them. Both would also be great: resentment melting into kindness. I love the description of Cosette as "more a lark than a dove", so maybe something about how she's stronger than she appears. And of course Eponine has her own strength! What experience does street-smart Eponine have that Cosette doesn't? What does well-read Cosette know that Eponine doesn't? Something with books or poetry or Cosette reading would be great. How does Marius (whether he's actually present or not) affect what's between them? Clothing porn, with Cosette's complicated fashions and Eponine's boy clothes. Eponine showing Cosette around Paris, or bringing her absinthe. Cosette giving Eponine attention and respect, and earning her trust. Both a one-night-stand encounter or a longer relationship would be great.

(Other pairings I like in this fandom are Enjolras/Grantaire and Joly/Bossuet/Musichetta, so feel free to include them if you want. Also a crossover with Ben January would be amazing!)

Feel free to combine any two pairings for a threesome! As well, a lot of these couples have not actually met (yet) in canon, so feel free to write something that's a plausible way canon might go, or to write something totally AU! I like either choice. I've read all the books, so if you want to include spoilers for the future or background details that haven't appeared in the show, that would be fine. One thing I do ask: I much, much prefer Shae's characterization in the TV show to the books, so please stick to that.

I'd love angry vengeful hate-sex; secretly-manipulating-you dub-conny sex; or we-are-super-allies-and-have-each-other's-back sex. Each of these options I can see as being very appropriate for these pairings. Who trusts who, and what does that trust look like? How do religion and politics and power affect these people? I'd love a story just exploring how a lot of these relationships would work, or wouldn't (Cersei and Dany can share the pressures of being a Queen, Shae and Talisa of being outsiders in Westeros, Dany and Margaery of using the perception of being a young woman against their opponents, etc, etc). I love all of these characters and would love to see how they interact with one another. I like the grimdarkness of this canon, but also like the possibility of hope and kindness.

Feel free to do either pairing, or an Olivia/Viola/Orsino threesome! Don't feel obligated to write in iambic pentameter, or to copy Shakespeare's style, though if you'd like to, I'd love to read that! I think this would be an amazing canon for an A/B/O AU- the play's already so much about gender and appearance and sex, why not add heats and abo roles! I think it would be hilarious to see what Shakespeare would do with those tropes.

If you're not into that, here are some other ideas: Furtive, sneaky sex during the canon (with or without Cesario's disguise being maintained). Post-play figuring out of how their relationship works. Exploration of Viola/Cesario and gender, cross-dressing, or kink. Masquerades, costumes, and identity porn. Friendly rivalry. Secrets coming out. Flirting and wordplay. Crossovers with other Shakespeare plays!

I love both of these ideas! Feel free to write either a crossover (Jenny runs into either Gunn or Eliot while chasing down some mysterious artifact for Corbin, or one of them comes to Sleepy Hollow for a similar reason) or to go full AU. I really adore Jenny as a character, so exploration of her backstory that included one of these guys would be amazing. If you want to set it during Sleepy Hollow's time-period, that's also cool, and feel free to include Abbie or Ichabod if you want! (Other characters from either AtS or Leverage are also very welcome!) I'd love an action story with a con, or vampires, or zombie George Washington. Some more ideas: Gunn's angst about his sister and Jenny's angst about her sister! Gunn and Jenny bonding over being black geeks! Eliot's multilingual skills! Eliot teaching Jenny how to cook! Sparring! Dramatic rescues! Snark! Being on opposite sides at first but coming to work together! Mutual disbelief over all the wacky stuff in their canons!
