Remix!

My laptop broke while I was in India, and is away being fixed. While I (self-evidently) still have internet access, I am super picky about computers, and I'm spending most of my day going 'Wahhh, this keyboard is too big for my fingers!' 'Wahhh, I want my bookmarks!' 'Wahh, I want to download stuff, but if I download it to this computer, I'll just have to download it again when I get my own back!' and various other petty problems.

So anyway! I managed to sign up for Remix, because I luckily happened to glance at LJ the last day of sign-ups and so heard about it. I have totally not even begun, though. I haven't even read any of my assignments stories yet! I am simultaneously excited (because I like the fandom I got matched on, and my assignment seems to write the characters and pairings I like, and I always love Remix) and worried (because OMG DEADLINE SO SOON). Who else signed up? How's your stories coming along?

My remix story... well, I have the outline complete in my head, but I have to watch a few episodes of [tv show] to get the narrator's voice down. Very excited, though!

Oh, yes, I need to rewatch the canon too. Which, unfortunately, is proving to be more difficult to get ahold of than I had expected. But I will manage! Or, that's what I'm telling myself.
