I have been so busy this month! I am sorry for not posting more, because I miss all of you. But today I am leaving for India for three months (I'll be back in mid-late March), and so I will not be posting much in the future either.

Just to let you know why I may be quite slow to respond to emails, comments and posts. But hey, at least I'm getting away from the cold weather! Have a good winter, everybody.

I'm working with M.S.U. (Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda) on an archaeological dig. It's a Harappan site called Shikarpur. Afterwards, I'll be traveling around a little to visit other archaeological sites and museums, but I'm not sure which ones exactly yet.

Harappa! I'm so jealous! (And now I feel ignorant, because I had thought Harappa was way out around Delhi.)

Well, not Harappa itself! Just a different site from the same culture/time period. Harappa, alas, has not had any archaeological work done on it since 9/11, as it's in Pakistan but was being dug by an American team, and there's been too much political turmoil since to continue the project.
