So, yesterday's poll was up a little over 24 hours, but that is because it is a Saturday and I like to sleep in. But here are the results:

It's been really interesting to me, too. Most of my predictions about who would do well and who would lose early have been completely wrong. For example, I thought for sure that Obama would go down in the first round, if just because everyone else's job is basically to be attractive, while he has other responsibilities.

I like watching other people do this meme too, even if they do not always pick celebrities to my taste. It's just really neat to see the diversity of what people find attractive; it's definitely not a simple thing.

I figure, thus far, Obama's job has served in his favor, because people are pleased to have an attractive President. As it comes down to the wire, though, I suspect others are going to win out (don't tell Phoebe, but I suspect Johnny's going to win among the guys).

I like watching other people do this meme too, even if they do not always pick celebrities to my taste.

The picking would actually be a huge problem for me. I can come up with five attractive male celebrities, but I always feel like it's inherently assumed in memes like that that a) these should be the five I find most attractive and b) there should be a sexual component to the attractiveness, which inhibits me on the female celebrity front. I can pick five women I think are awesome, possibly even beautiful, but I have only an abstract concept of their sex appeal, and again, it'd just be five of the female celebrities I like, not the five I like the most. My brain just doesn't work that way.
