Yuletide Santa

Dear Santa,

Yay! I love you already. You can feel free to ignore this letter, or you may pick and choose details that match your own preferences. It doesn't matter! You are writing me a story, and thus I love you either way.

I have written things about my story kinks before: this post has my top ten and here's a comment about 'cool bits in stories' that I really like. And, because I am crazy and like meta, I've written an essay about my personal ship/OTP paradigm. Those three things will probably cover most of my personal tastes and interests. Also, you may want to check out my own fic! You can find it all here, but there's a lot, so of course don't feel obligated to read it. I do enjoy happy endings and fluff, and am endlessly impressed by anyone who can write humor well, but dark themes, sad endings, violence, adult language and other things that give movies R ratings are also merrily accepted. Sex scenes are welcome, but if there's no point to it other than 'hey, sex!' I think a fade-to-black or a few evocative lines are much more powerful (and hot).

I have kind of already forgotten most of what I requested, so don't worry about matching anything I said exactly. No matter what you write, I am likely to be pleasantly surprised when the archive opens.


Dear everyone else: I will post more often! Really! But I am so unbelievably busy: I worked over 12 hours some days this week. But I miss you all.
