Hello!

Hello everyone!

I am finally back home again, hooray hooray, after many countries and weeks. Two months is a long time! In case you were unaware of that fact.

I'm skimming my flist, but I'm very far behind, so if there's anything you'd like me to see, feel free to link me to it.

London was nice! Except for the Thames flooding and my hostel catching on fire and the day I lost my wallet and the Globe lost my reservation and various other assorted troubles. I think I am perhaps not about to decide to move there. Particularly because I like New York! And have places to move here.

My, this is a random post, isn't it? Full of unrelated things. In conclusion I will just say: hello all! I am very glad to be back.

Yay, glad to have you back! Though I am sorry that London treated you so poorly--I hope you got your wallet back, at least?

Thank you! And I did get it back, very luckily; it just took me an hour to find it, which was incredibly nerve-wracking and made me miss out on something I'd planned to do, since I no longer had enough time if I was going to make my flight later on that day.

Welcome back! The catalogue of London disasters sounds at once ghastly and entertaining, the sort of thing that will make an excellent story -- eventually. I can't believe the timing that took you there precisely as fire and flood descended, except for the part where I totally believe it because it's so painfully literary.

I keep meaning to ask and forgetting: where's the new neighborhood? (Is it fun? Is there interesting shopping there, the way there is on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn? Inquiring minds, blah, blah.)

Thank you! Wasn't just the strangest of coincidences? I suppose, in the end, it does make for a better story than if everything had been sunny and nice and worked out perfectly, but I think I could have done with a little less of Armageddon.

It's in Spanish Harlem. Not much nice shopping there, but a few blocks south and you can find approximately every restaurant ever.

Hiii! I... wow, you certainly got to London at an interesting time. XD; It must feel great to be back.

Haha, yeah. I will have to visit again some week when it is less insane.

But yes, it's so nice! I had missed New York and, of course, various people a lot.

Welcome back! Please post extensively on the London disasters when you have energy.

PS. I will be in New York in late September. Want to meet up?

Thank you! I will.

Yes, I would really like that! I should probably be free most days other than Monday-Wednesday.

Hey! Yay, you're back! I think London likes you (though now that you've given us teasers like these, it would be cruel not to do a trip-post when you get a chance.)

I am! It's very nice.

And heh, I suppose it did give me plenty of stories. Which, yes, I will be sure to tell.

A homecoming

Thank you! I missed you, too.

And yes, I will have to tell the stories. Though, hee, I'm already accumulating things here to tell as well!

HELLO! I got your postcard, thank you! I did send you one back but I don't know if it will have got to you...

You missed LJ exploding just after you left - some bright spark decided that deleting journals without warning based purely on "suspect" interests (including RP and fiction journals) was a great idea, and every fandom person on the world through a hissy fit. It was awesome. ^_^

Hello! I got yours, too, on the very last day I was there- it just made it. Hee. Thank you so much! I've never gotten a postcard from Japan before.

I did miss all of that, though I've heard stories of it. Everything exciting happens when I leave!

Hello! Thanks for the postcard! (I hope mine came in time?)
Your London adventure sounds ghastly - but at last you had your bad things for next four years or something...;-)
