Warm weather! Yay!

brigdhA conversation I had last week, when the temperature was approximately 18 degrees:
Other Person: I'm not going anywhere for spring break.
Me: Me neither. But that's okay; there's plenty to do here. It's just too bad that it's still so cold. I'd really like it if it was warm and sunny enough to sit in a park.
Other Person: Well, I did hear it was supposed to warm up next week!
Me: I heard that, too. But 50s are still cold for park-sitting, at least to me. I'm talking about, say, 70, and I sincerely doubt it'll manage to hit that next week.
Both: *laugh*
But guess what the high was today!! Oh, it makes me so happy. Of course, it's supposed to start raining any minute now and be back in the 30s by tomorrow night, but I am still incredibly pleased that there was one day warm enough to walk around without coats or sweaters, even to eat ice cream on the street!
