brigdhOscar nominations are out! I'm terribly disappointed that I've only seen one of the best picture nominees (The Departed); now I have to try and see all the others before the show is on. Though I'm not certain I even want to see The Queen, unless someone wants to convince me that it's actually much better than it looks.
In other news, my roommate is still gone. Of the 17 days since I had to return from break, she has been here for four of them. Possibly three and a half. One of those she used to clean the entire place, including, I'm fairly certain, mopping the floors. I'd worry that was some sort of passive-aggressive comment on my housecleaning skills if I, you know, cared. Also, I wasn't the one who still had milk from October in the fridge.
She must not have much to do, or like any of the people here, I suppose. Though if I lived within easy-weekend-visit distance of New York, I'd be making excuses to come here, not stay away.
