Several of the people on my friends list have mentioned that they're going to participate in Project 365 this year. I don't have a link to an explanation, but the basic idea is that you take one photograph a day, for a whole year. I got a camera for Christmas last month, and it sounds like fun, so I figured I'd play too. Unfortunately I didn't realize that I wanted to join in until today, so I'm cheating a bit by having the first seven photos all be ones I took today.
It really is too bad that I didn't start yesterday; I could have had some very cool pictures of driving over the Appalachians.

I love this Gandhi statue so much! It is my favorite thing ever. If I knew who was continually supplying him with fresh flower necklaces, I would totally donate money to them.

Note to self: do not attempt to take photos while struggling to keep umbrella from blowing away.

Date: 2007-01-08 06:14 am (UTC)Grace Cathedral. Which is terribly pretty, especially at night when they light it up, but I was getting cold standing in the rain and trying to get a photo, and I figured with 365 pictures, I'd be sure to get another shot of it sometime.

Date: 2007-01-08 11:19 pm (UTC)I really like that drawing. It looks like chalk, but I'm not sure if it really is, because it's been there for, like, two months by now. So either it's paint made to look like chalk or somebody must keep redrawing it.
