Five Books Tenpou Keeps Next to His Bed and Five Things Kenren Brought Tenpou from the Lower World, and One Thing He Hasn't by [livejournal.com profile] springgreen. Saiyuki Gaiden, PG. These are excellent. Read them both, but really read the second one; it breaks my heart.

Rhythms by [livejournal.com profile] rm. Swordspoint, PG-13/R. Oh, man, love. Those of you who have been indulging my obsession with crazy swordsmen and scholars must go read this.

In news about me, um, I am too tired to think of news about me. Apparently arguing continuity of cultural meaning really takes it out of me, or perhaps I simply shouldn't try drinking hot chocolate instead of coffee once I've developed a caffeine dependency. Tell me something interesting about you instead!

Hee. Not that weird, and very good news! I know lots of people who enjoy retail work more than anything else they've done.

I'm so glad someone else has a caffeine dependency besides me. One of my flatmates tried to talk to me before I'm had my morning coffee, and I actually frightened her because I was so zoned out and wouldn't talk to her. I don't even remember her calling my name. Another morning, I was on the tram with another flatmate, and was so out of it from lack of caffeine that I leaning against the door, didn't realise it was opening behind me, and nearly went flying out backwards. Embarrssment.

It occurs to me that I should probably be worried.

*laughs and laughs* I think you've got it worse than me; at least I've never fallen out of anything for lack of coffee.
