In case you somehow managed to miss everyone else posting about it, yuletide sign-ups are go! C'mon, you know there's some obscure little fandom you're dying to read a story in.

I had the hardest time picking four fandoms for my request. I thought it would be easy, but suddenly I was looking at the list and there were so many things I wanted. My willing-to-write list was huge, so I suppose I'll be surprised by whatever I get.

I have a meeting with my advisor in the West Village at 4-ish, but if you are up for maybe getting some coffee or something in the earlier afternoon ladysisyphus and I would also be game.

Ha! Man, I do nothing for a month, and then I have four people to meet in one weekened.

But yes, that would be awesome. Do you know of a place to meet? I am still in the stage of making baby steps to find cool places to hang out.

...Depends on what part of town you're in, which I've managed to miss due to being a tard? I know very little of NYC that isn't crazy restaurants and the immediate area of Penn Station, so maybe best to just look around there.

I live on First Ave and 20th, so I'm actually pretty close to Penn. So that works!

Well, I don't want to drag you too far out of your way, but how about the Starbucks at 31st and Seventh Ave.? ...It is not what you'd call creative, but hey, /classy/ Starbucks! :D Say around quarter to three? We can support the corporate moguls, hang out a bit, then maybe 3:30-ish ladysisyphus and I can scoot back into Penn and take the subway over to my meeting.

The eternal question. Uh, I've got chin-length-ish medium brown hair and will be wearing a brown corduroy jacket with a rainbow ribbon pinned to it; ladysisyphus will be the most beautiful woman on the street wearing a black leather bomber jacket, and has long sort of ginger hair and glasses. And we will come as a set, and she is loud and Texan and hard to miss. ...oh, and now she's glaring at me.

Really? I found it almost impossible to think up three fandoms I wanted to read and three I could write... just signed up because my housemate mentioned it and I remembered I wanted to do it last year. I didn't know it was for _really_ obscure fandoms though - I thought Yami would count!

I thought I would have trouble, but once I started looking at the list I saw all these things I wanted to do. *laughs*

I'm always bitter than Yami doesn't count; it did the year before I started playing. I wonder if we could have gotten it in as a dead fandom this year, though? Maybe not; it might still be active enough.
