Man, doing research for writing results in my google history having all sorts of weird shit in it.

Hopefully I won't get investigated by the NSA anytime soon.

You do know you can clear that history... right? At least if it's the toolbar.

Right-click on box, select "Clear Search History".

...does this all the time at work...

*laughs*

I just wish this wasn't for an anonymous ficathon. I want to be able to point people at the story as soon as I finish it instead of waiting for the reveal.

I've been looking around for links to pages that will teach me Arabic for my next job. I so look forward to being able to put that particular language skill on my resume in these happy times.

(I passed a page that was going on about how Persian isn't the same, and look, here's the Persian alphabet to prove it. And I said to myself, no, I do not need to try to learn Persian at the same time so I can read Sufi poetry in the original language. That will not be helpful. Of course, I'm just waiting for some of the books I'll be looking at to be in Persian, and we don't know yet because none of us know Arabic and they look similar when you don't know any better.)

*laughs* I hear Arabic is actually becoming really popular- possibly because the CIA/other parts of the government are so desperate to find speakers, but I remember reading an article that enrollment in Arabic classes has gone up dramatically in the last few years.

Oh, man, Persian. I would love to be able to read Persian poetry, and supposedly it's easier than Arabic- Persian and English and much more closely related. Arabic would be awesome too, though. I just want to learn more languages.
