lucifrix (Happy Birthday, by the way!) wanted to see The view from your bedroom window.
Courtyard and a parking lot, very exciting. This is the view you get if you climb on top of the desk, by the way. Otherwise you just see the other wall of the building, since we live right on the inside corner of the courtyard.


Your school cafeteria.
Sorry about the blurriness, but people were staring and I didn't want to hang around to take another. This is the cafeteria closest to where I live; we have about 15 of them, but I cook my own food anymore. (Random conversation between me and Crazy Racist Guy!
CRG: Man, the lines in Marketplace are really long this year.
Me: Oh, I wouldn't know. I don't buy a mealplan anymore.
CRG: Really? But it's not any cheaper to eat out all the time.
Me: I usually cook for myself, actually.
CRG: Really?
Me: Yeah.
CRG: Wow. ...do you eat a lot of eggs?
Because that's the next logical question. Seriously, he is crazy.)


Your favorite (for whatever reason) campus building.
This is the art museum. It's definitely the best in terms of taking a photo; nothing else looks like that. *grins*

My feet are still all scarred from the horrible adventures I've been having with flip-flops! Sorry about the, uh, gross scabs.


2) Your favorite tree.
Isn't that the neatest tree? It started growing up, and then decided it wanted to go the other way. I love it.


3) Whatever you have for dinner tonight.
This is rice pilaf and Morning Garden's veggie bites. I was being ghetto today and didn't make anything interesting, heh.

First of all, I think that dinner looks like you have bugs in your rice >.<;;; I trust it was yummy, but it looks a little... gross >.<;; Second of all, I want to take pictures of that tree!! That is the neatest tree I've seen!!

Heh. Never had rice pilaf? Those bug things are the pilaf part- they're a nutty/wheat thing. Yummy, though.

I adore that tree. And it's right next to my major's building, so I see it all the time.

Heh. I'm in Ohio, but you'd hardly have to come all the way here to try it; it's a fairly common side-dish. At least in America, which I forget if you're in or not. I think it's technically a Spanish dish, or maybe Italian, but you can find it all over the place. I make mine from an instant package of the Near East (http://www.neareast.com/home.html) brand, because when I'm feeling lazy, boiling water and dumping in the contents of a box is about all the cooking I'm willing to do. *grins*

Hmmm... I'll have to look around for a tree like that, then. I live in Chicago, which might be a little far to travel to Ohio :P
