I win!

I finished a draft of my story! It's very much a first draft, but still, now I have a beginning to an end, and I'm very pleased. I've been working on this for nearly a month, and it's really not long enough (3,176 words now, which is slightly longer than what I tend to write, but still quite far from epic) or complicated enough to have taken so long. I don't know why it's been so difficult. But I'm very happy to have a draft, even if it will take more work.

And now I'm going to go make something to eat and take a bath.
