[livejournal.com profile] audiography's theme this week is "the soundtrack of your life". Some people are posting songs that were important to them at specific times, some people are posting a set of songs from each time period they've lived through, some people are using that meme that's gone around a few times- "opening credits", "first kiss", "fight scene", etc.

I am infatuated with the idea of making a post of my life's AUs. (And this is the song for that time when I was a cat burglar and had wild affairs involving jewels worth millions of dollars, and this is the song for the life where I was an orphan and led a gang and sold drugs and was willing to cut a bitch, and this...) Except I can't decide if that would be awesome, or if everyone would think I was crazy.

Tell me you do this, too! Do you ever hear a song and think, 'Hey, if only I'd been born in medieval Paris and picked pockets in the cour des miracles, these lyrics would totally be about me!'?

And now, since it's Thursday and the longest time until I have class again, I am free to go write some fic. And possibly go to that bar thing later; I still haven't decided.

Bloody fucking hell, why is it so cold in this coffeeshop? I'm as far from the door as you can get, and I'm still huddling into my coat and wearing gloves. This is Not Allowed. And normally it's warmer here than it is at home, so that's not encouraging. And it was cold in class today, and it's freezing outside, and weather! Stop it. It was cute for a while, but now the time is over. The low is 13 today. If that was in Celius, it might almost be acceptable.

Huh. Apparently I'm not going to that bar-thing. Ah, well. Making Alec and Richard have sex is more interesting than talking to strangers anyway.
