Oct. 13th, 2005 07:42 pmI lost my student ID card again today. I say again because I'm fairly incapable of going a month without losing it. Fortunately, I nearly always get them back; whoever finds them will simply use the name on the card to look me up and give it to me, and this has indeed happened today.
But. Sometimes, I really, really wish people would just leave things where the fuck they find them. Because inevitably I realize that it's lost within minutes, go back to where it should be, but nooo, someone's already been a Good Samaritan and picked it up, and then I have to go sit in my room and wait for them to call me, and then it always turns out that they live, like, in some fucking suburb on the other side of the city and I have to wait until they feel like coming back to campus to get the thing, and meanwhile I can't get into any campus buildings or my room or use the computer labs or any of the million other things I need to do, like buy food.
ARGH. *stabs*
