Oh, and while I'm sitting around gibbering and waiting for plumbers to call: in that case, where did you find all your Saiyuki icons? I'd been assuming that you made them, but perhaps not?

*laughs* Oh, no. I only wish I could be that talented at icon-making. Mine are all from saiyuki_icons. You might also try looking in the memories of psychodragon82 or tad_coast, two people whose styles I'm particularly fond of, and who I'm not sure if they've posted to the community recently.

Nearly every fandom will have at least one icon community; larger ones, like Buffy, often have multiple. yami_icons and saiyuki_icons are the only two I'm following at the moment though. By the way, if you ever happen to see someone use an icon you like, even if it's in a community and you've never before spoken to the person, it's considered appropriate LJ etiquette to ask if you may use it. They might say no (though usually people are quite willing to share), but there's nothing wrong with asking.
