Gayleen Froese - Sparrows

This is the song that I stole the lyric on this icon from. It's a wonderful song, and I love it, which is why I wanted to share it. If you like it, I really recommend trying to find more of her music. However, this is the only website I could find for the artist, although there must be another one, because I'm sure I bought my CD less than five years ago. Obviously, this isn't some famous group, and I'm trying to alleviate my guilt for posting this mp3 by convincing you all to buy her stuff. It is very pretty music.

I want! But I can't find a current site or CD sales page for her either. This (http://rhipodon.freehosting.net/) seems to be what remains of her fannish page (interesting that Sparrows is inspired by QAFUK) but the links elsewhere including to cd sales, are dead. :(

Hmm. Maybe she's given up as a musician, then. That's really too sad, I do adore the CD I have.

I found one copy of her first CD for sale through a single music shop, on a sort of online fleamarket site, but no one selling it commercially. :(

Aw. I found her when I was in The Sentinel fandom, since she did several songs for them, and she was offering a CD of only the fannish songs. And you know, thinking about it, maybe that was five years ago, though it hardly seems possible. But I was still in high school...

Anyway, I think she must have disappeared. And just as I finally get around to reccommending her to other people!
