Mwahaha! I win at life!

Other things that are good:
Hisoka fst by [livejournal.com profile] yasminm. You have to be a member of the community to see the post, but why would you not want to be a member of the community?
So you want to learn Japanese, gacked from [livejournal.com profile] boniblithe. Ah ha ha ha ha. It's funny 'cause it's true.
The Incredibles. It's like Watchmen, but for kids. At least the beginning is; for the first half hour I kept thinking Alan Moore is *so* going to sue them! But then it went a different direction. Still good, though.
[livejournal.com profile] audiogasms: best LJ community ever. I got my copy of "She Walks in Beauty Like the Night", from the Vanity Fair soundtrack, off of here. I love that song so much. This is also where I finally managed to find Billie Holiday's "Solitude", which I'd been searching for for weeks.
Watari/Tatsumi doujinshis up for sale on ebay. As in, more than one. Wicked cool. There's also a Muraki/Tatsumi one. And some t-shirts.
Filling out this poll so I can send you a card. This is a very good thing.

Yup... that was me! I'm a mad insane Watari x Tatsumi fan. And it IS so pretty! How could I not?

Yes, and I promise scans for all!

*blush*

You so smart (considering there's NOTHING in my ebay name that would give me away).

There was a nice Watari x Hisoka one -- well, the artwork wasn't AS nice as this one, but it had that interesting and rare quality about it. But of the handful of Watari x Tatsumi DJs I've seen, I am ECSTATIC about this one I won. I let a couple others go because the artwork was just... um... not quite what I was willing to pay that much for (except for the one I DID bid $75 on and STILL LOST -- that one was beautiful too).

I'm mad.

...bad, and dangerous to know.

But I like that about you.

Personally I'd like a better picture of that shirt >>;

Same here. It's not a picture of the shirt at all; just a scan of the picture that goes *on* the shirt. And if they're just going to do an iron-on design or something similiar, well, I could do that myself for much cheaper.

:/

I'm feeling the The Japanese have what could be called an "interesting" grammatical structure, but could also be called "confusing", "random",
"bogus" or "evil".

Because wow. Does *everything* has to be the exact opposite order of English?

Now you know how I felt when I started learning English as a schoolgirl back in Malaysia. :D And don't even get me started on Arabic ("Wait, nouns have a dual as well as plural forms? WTF???").

I can't even imagine trying to learn English as a second language. I still don't understand any of our grammar rules, and I've been speaking it my entire life. I've given up on understanding it and go with the "well, it sounds right..." rule.

But I suppose that's what you should expect when the language is the bastard child of, like, ten different languages.
