And I've already read the whole thing. Yanno, I wouldn't mind waiting a year between each book so much if I could make myself read slower. It should take more than a day to read 600 pages, damnit.

Anyways,

Fool: I can see the future! I predict that I'm going to die.
Me: Ha, ha, silly Fool. You won't die! Fitz will finally realize he loves you, and you'll have a happy ending!
Fool: *gets kidnapped and held hostage and tortured*
Me: Ha, ha, silly Fool. You won't die! Fitz will save you and realize how much he loves you and you'll have a happy ending!
Poettre: I saw the Fool's body. He's dead.
Me: Ha, ha... silly.. Poettre. Um. Obviously this is just a dramatic plot moment, soon to be proved wrong. Really. Fitz will go to see for himself, and find the Fool alive, and realize how close he came to loosing him, and how much he loves him, and they will live happily ever after!
Me: I think.
Fitz: *finds the Fool's dead body*
Me: Ha, ha, silly... Wait, no. This isn't supposed to happen.
Fitz: *brings the Fool back to life*
Me: Whooooooooooooooo! Yes! Thank you! Told ya he wasn't really going to die.
Fitz & the Fool: *kiss*
Me: *squees* *dies*
Me: Yay! I've been waiting nine books for you two to do that! Finally!
Fool: *cuts all ties with Fitz and leaves his life forever*
Fitz: *goes and gets married to Molly*
Me: ...
Me: ...
Me: ...
Me: Damnit. >.<


But it was a very good book, as always, and I really reccommend the whole series to anyone who hasn't read them.

Nine! Nine! And I waited through all that just to get some boykissing, and then what happens? He gets married to a girl! XP

Obviously this is all the fault of the decline of our culture. Won't someone think of the children?!

Hopefully. But stalking the author's homepage only gets me, "Right now I have several possible book ideas that I'm developing. At this stage, it's very easy to 'talk the book to death' so for now, all I'm going to say is that I've got some ideas that fascinate me and I'm working on them."

But the end of this latest book really seemed to beg a sequel based on wherever the Fool headed off to when he left Fitz, so I can hope.

Yep, nine. Nine really long books. Big hardcovers, averaging around 700 pages each.

And after all that, I only got a kiss, and then they spilt up forever! *pouts* Stupid characters.
