Yet More of the Random

brigdhWeirdest weather EVER this afternoon: Bright and sunny and warm, no clouds overhead- yet constant loud, rumbling and crashing thunder. And then the clouds moved in and there was lots and lots and lots of rain.
ClubSoka word count: 4,242, which is putting me about 1,800 words behind for today. I don't think I'm going to make it, although there's always a chance. I haven't written anything today, although I blame it on having to babysit all day and not getting enough sleep. The fic is paused in the middle of a sentence, as that's where I was yesterday evening, when my mom came home, turned on the TV and yelled to me, "Oh my God, come watch CNN! New York is dead!" and I went racing in, expecting a smoking crater. Of course, she meant the electricity was dead. Ha. Excuse me while my heart stops. And then we went out and saw American Wedding, so I never got back to it.
We had electricity the whole time, if you were wondering. Although it almost went out today in that storm.

Date: 2003-08-16 05:25 pm (UTC)I've been doing drawings of him, myself, but with pen & paper as I do not have the mad graphic skillz. I wish I had a scanner to upload them, but alas, that shall have to wait until I go back to the dorms. At least it's only about a month more.
