Apparently Kamakura City is a real place. Who knew? The actual name of Hisoka's "desolate mountain village" is not given, so I can't find anything about that, but there's plenty of information about Kamakura and the nearby area. Creepy fact: The city tree of Kamakura is the wild cherry tree. "In centuries past, the many wild cherry trees found in Kamakura's mountains were used as firewood and for making charcoal. Each spring, we continue to enjoy the wonderful cherry blossoms that remain in the mountains."

Also, apparantly it is nearly impossible to die from ODing on Ecstasy. Does anyone know anything about that?

Today I also actually cooked. I blame Amet for talking about it. I made 'Spaghetti Squash Italino'. Go me. I was home alone at the time, and blasted Eminem while I cooked. Mmmm, rap and house-wifeness. And then I went to a club.

Except seriously. That's where I was tonight, if anyone was curious. Went out with some friends who're going back to school next week.

Geese, and I thought researching Jack was depressing. ^^;

I know nothing about E except that it can seriously mess people up... makes sexual functioning nearly impossible, I've heard.

It's not impossible to OD. In fact, a small percentage of population might die from their first shot regardless of the amount, due to a genetic "defect". I don't remember the spesifics though.

Mixing E with alcohol or normal pain medication (ibuprofen etc) can also be a deadly coctail. Not to mention some prescription medicines! Again, medicine isn't my major, so I'm only reciting what I've managed to gather on random popular science magazines.

But otherwise, an OD of extasy will most likely make you just very very sick.

From what I understand, Ecstasy is basically a brainwashing drug, making one very open to suggestion and easily influenced by the surrounding enviroment. Lovely stuff. ¬.¬
Once upon a time I had a magazine with an article on it, so I'll try to find that again and give more information. I think E isn't deadly on its own to most people, but mixing it with certain things can be very deadly. I think some things, like cranberries, can slightly counteract the effects.

Ah, that's very interesting. Almost everything I'd found said it was nearly impossible to die from E alone- the few deaths related to it where more caused by side-effects such as overheating or dehydration. But thanks for the info, it could be really useful. :)
