So today, I'm searching around LJ, because I want a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' icon, and I don't want to make one myself. I depend on people with talent for these sorts of things.

But you know what I discovered? There is no LJ community for potc icons. This is surely an abomination against God and man. So I corrected the problem.

Pimp me, please? I'm totally unconnected the fandom, and no one will ever join the community unless word gets out.

And btw, this icon came from thehush who's site really rocks.

ETA: Okay, sigh, there totally is a community already. And damnit, I really searched for it. I did everything I could think of to look through LJ for it, I even tried googling. And then there was nothing. But now I found it. So, um, I think I'll take my community down, because I feel guilty about taking their fanfare.

I did! And I was all excited, too. I thought I was going to get to run a big community. But somebody else thought of it first. *sighs* At least I found some potc icons, though.
