brigdhSo, Friday night I wasn't feeling good. Weird, depressive mood where I didn't want to talk to anyone. So I put away messages up on my IMs and avoided RL friends, and pulled the laptop to my bed so I could be even more isolated. And that was quite a feat, actually, since I had to pull my bed halfway across the room so the internet cable would reach. Which, okay, wasn't really that big of a deal, since our rooms are only six feet wide (and oh, don't I wish that was an exaggeration).
Anyway. Did some searches for fic to take my mind off things. Found Drifting by Bekquai, which I'd seen people reccing before, but hadn't got around to reading. And damn, girl. I really should have read this earlier. That is some good shit.
Also found Dorian Gray, and hooray, because now I have a new author to stalk. She is getting so much feedback from me once I get around to it. Go read her stuff right now, there's only three stories and they're all fantastic. Especially especially The City of Lost Causes. Oh My God. The City of Lost Causes. How did I miss out on this author? And The Lie. It's even better. I didn't think that was possible, but I was so wrong. The Lie. Just... wow. Read it. Right now. Go!
