Jesus. Want to try to raise your blood pressure? Try looking things up on Minotaur's site while non-slash-fen roommates walk around behind you. I don't think I've ever closed a window so fast, so many times.

Okay, so, what do we think: Would water work as lube? All that effort, and Minotaur doesn't say either way. He did list beer as a lube, so I would think water would be close enough....
Opinions please.

PWP Update: 3,770 words. I think you'll be able to guess if I've hit the sex yet. ;)

It's pretty far down on the low end of being useful -- water by itself evaporates too fast. Water-based lubes have propylene glycol added to combat that, and they still dry out faster than oil and petroleum based.

Just water by itself would be a situation where they'd have to be fairly careful. Or alternatively, in such a rush that they *didn't* care, with the risk of regretting it in the morning. ;-)

Minotaur! Yay! :D

Water... yah, someone else 'splained it there. Soap and other such soap-like things (shampoo, conditioner) I wouldn't recommend either, as they burn on torn skin, natch. ;p Hm... in a pinch, a lot of folks use some sort of skin lotion... sometimes *that* burns too, but it's at least not as painful to imagine as water or soap...

Hmmm, okay. I see what you're saying.

Thanks for the help. :)

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't work. But water just flowed so well from the scene. But, meh, they can find something else. Thanks for the help, though. :)

And I'm still so in love with that Muraki icon. *Sigh*
