(Also, I've been reading through AO3's Leverage fics and, man, there is a lot of Parker/Eliot. I do like their dynamic, but I did not expect to see it quite that often.)

i like all permutations of parker, hardison and eliot, but they feel most well and right to me together as a trio; parker and hardison are adorable and right together, and eliot brings in this thread of loyalty and protectiveness and desire to belong, and ah, it's a catnip to me.

I think it's just that Hardison is my favorite, and so I'm grouchy at him being excluded. Because really, like you say, I do like all possible combinations.

Crossing Ben January with True Blood. Just because. It would be hilarious.

I'm not even through S1 yet (I know someone who LOVES Eric, so I'm giving it a try) very slow because all of the sex is so, so trashy, auugh, but I bet Hannibal would sulk because people always guess he's a vampire and never guess Ben or Rose.

Haaaaaaaaa, oh my god, this is an amazing idea. And hey, they're both in Louisiana!

I don't think I could actually recommend True Blood to anyone (everything about it is trashy, not just the sex), though I seem to remember that the first couple of seasons were better, before it became the ridiculous soap opera that it currently is. It still does have the best credit sequence, even though it bears almost no relation to the show.

Having a white man visit a school for girls of color is one thing when he teaches Latin there- what are Ben and Rose going to do with Hannibal when he's sick? They won't let him leave, he'll feel compelled to preserve their reputations. Domestic routine and OT3 feels plus the minor intrigue of hiding someone from curious, precocious students (and by extension their disapproving mothers)?

I don't know if you're still seeking ideas, but know what I'd really, really, really like? Benjamin/Hannibal roleplaying. Sexy or for-the-case, power-differency or not, whatever, I'd just like them to play along to a shared script.

OKAY SO HANNIBAL THE PENNILESS TUTOR, and Benjamin his extremely scary employer who demands sexual favours as, like, punishment for Hannibal touching his books without permission or something. I think this is a roleplay they'd do in a very jokey way, because Ben does not like sleaze and power abuse, they would probably stop to smother giggles a hundred times over. Hannibal would have ink-stained cufflinks and keep pretending he's a starving waif on the edge of fainting.

OR Gothic romance roleplay, with corsets and braided hair, and probably giggles again.

OR, if they were serious... idk, I can see them taking a disguises roleplay - maybe not the master/slave one, but probably something where Hannibal is in charge and Benjamin is his handler - and twisting it, reversing it, to ease Benjamin's tension, and to pass the time during their big actiony thing. Breathplay can happen, or rough sex, or or or or tying Hannibal to things possibly.

... OR Pirates of the Carribean rp, though I can't decide which of them would be Jack and which would be Elizabeth.

YES THIS IS ALL GENIUS. And adorable. And hot.

I imagine Hannibal saying, "I might faint!" keeps making Ben stop to check on him, and Hannibal has to reassure him "No, no, it's just part of the game" and other general silliness and falling in and out of character.

I really love the idea of the rougher/darker kind, but it's harder to get them there. Though it's a lovely image certainly!

Modern AU!fic? Rose would get to go to events for women in STEM fields. January would work 80-hour weeks as a surgeon and make loads of money and never have enough time to play music, and text Hannibal regularly to ask if he'd taken his meds. Olympe could keep her hair un-relaxed but be very defensive of women who chose to relax theirs (as Dominique might).

Yessssss. I love modern AUs and totally want to write one. Though I don't actually want to write a plot so much as just lay out what everyone does and what their apartments look like and what kind of clothes they wear.

Though I hadn't considered their texts and now it's my new favorite thing. Ben, Rose, and Hannibal are all totally the type of people who write texts in complete sentences with correct spelling and grammar and everything (as am I, to be fair).

Haaaa, there are no happy endings with Arthurian mythology. At best you get little moments of happiness before everything gets terrible again.

I so wanted the Portier/Ilario fic for those books! They're not even that slashy, but they both need someone to comfort them.
