brigdhIt's my birthday, yay!
I'm getting so old! This is the last year of my twenties. What will I do when I have to be an adult? (Also, ha, I think everyone I know who still is reading LJ is older than me, which I suppose proves that the answer is just 'continue to have fun as before'.)

Date: 2013-04-10 11:37 pm (UTC)I'll be turning 34 in a little more than a week. I live with friends in a house with a library that has the Medieval conception of the cosmos painted on the ceiling and tapestries on the walls because it's a modern reproduction of a 18th century collectors library which is sort of mimicking a Medieval/Renaissance library and we have a huge room full of anime and manga where we watch things which has a ceiling with the sky painted on it. Also dragon kites. We have lots of toys and play games and have a costume closet because we had enough costumes that they needed their own closet. Because we're adults and that's what we want to do in our house.

Which wouldn't prevent me from trying, but 2) I always have and continue to live in rented places, and I'm not sure how my landlord would feel about a non-quite-competent rendition of stars or plants or whatever,
