Project Runway Episode 2
Aug. 4th, 2011 10:34 pmOMG I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WON. I was sure that ugly wooly dog bed thing was going to be the one that went home. The top was sort of interesting when it was on the mannequin, but once the model put it on, it was terribly fitted and lumpy and ugh. And the skirt was just ugly.
It was so much more awful that the one that did go home (which, by the way, if we're going to criticize people for their choice of materials, umbrellas are more unconventional than dog beds). I actually liked the top, though more-so when it had that super-wde belt than the version that finally went down the runway.
I thought the seed dress was a bit boring (and yes, too short). The 80s outfit I disliked, but mainly because I hate the whole concept of 80s style and do not understand why it is back in. I loved the idea of the dog cone skirt, and wish she could have found a way to make that work, because it was awesome.
In general, I don't have a favorite or least-favorite designer yet, mainly because there's still too many for me to remember who is who. But I still love Tim Gunn the most, and am terribly confused by the judges' taste.
Also I am moving the day after tomorrow SO MUCH TO DO AHH.
