So, orientation was pretty fun. The speeches and classes weren't- there's only so many times you can hear "getting involved makes a big school seem small!" before your eyelids start to get heavier than some of these college textbooks. But the people were mostly pretty cool, and that's what it's all about.

The only really shocking thing was that we scheduled our fall quarter right there. On the first day of orientation. Without having met *any* of our advisers. Are you getting the picture? I still have no idea of what classes I need to take, what classes I can take, what classes I should take...

But I did schedule 16 hours. So at least I'll have something to do that first week before someone grabs me and informs me that I'm in all the wrong classes.

Here's my schedule:

Monday:
8:30-9:30 Elementary Chemistry 101, Lecture
11:30-1:18 Comparative Studies in Humanities 100 An honors course.
1:30-2:48 French 103.66
3:30-4:30 Social and Behavioral Sciences Survey Course

Tuesday:
9:30-10:30 Elementary Chemistry 101, Discussion Group
3:30-4:30 Social and Behavioral Sciences Survey Course

Wednesday:
8:30-9:30 Elementary Chemistry 101, Lecture
11:30-1:18 Comparative Studies in Humanities 100
1:30-2:48 French 103.66
3:30- 4:30 Social and Behavioral Sciences Survey Course

Thursday:

Friday:

16 hours. 1 honors course. Anyone have any idea of what kind of work load that is?
