Irritated at the cat hair all over our sofas, I asked my sister in law, who also has cats, if they had a special method for removing it. She said, "Yeah -- we sit on the couches, and then when we get up, the cat hair is stuck to our clothes instead." LOL!

A friend of mine simply applies a lint roller to her cat. Not a novel strategy and likely ineffective, but it was hilarious the first time she tried it.

Hee! I got this special brush thing that's supposed to make cats shed less if you use it on them regularly, and my cats looooove it. But it's kind of horrifying, since it creates vast clouds of hair during use.
