Bohun Upas
Website Description: A Rappaccini's Garden scent. The Tree of Poisons. Every aspect of this tree is toxic, from the narcotic, lethal fumes that it emits, to its oozing, poisonous sap. A deceptively tranquil scent: heady fruits, dry bark, and deep green leaves, enveloped by a dark and sinister murk.
In Vial: A fruity scent, a bit like pear cider, but sweeter.
Wet: It gets a little less sweet, and a little more spicy- it smells a lot like standard potpourri, actually.
Dry: A spicy, woody, scent. I don't have anything much to say about this; it's a bit boring.
Notes: I spilled this while writing the review, so, whoops! At least it's not one I was that fond of, and I'd gotten it as a freebie anyway. However I can now also note, after having mopped it up with a tissue, that this scent can also function quite nicely for scenting a room.

Chimera
Website Description: A Bewitching Brews scent. The fiery, volatile scent of cinnamon, thickened by myrrh, honeysuckle, and copal.
In Vial: Cinnamon. A strong sweet cinnamon, like Red Hot candy, plus something very sweet in the background- a honey or floral.
Wet: Very strong cinnamon. It is really exactly like Red Hots, which were never my favorite.
Dry: Still Red Hots, though with a sort of gritty note (probably the myrrh, though I'm just saying that because I don't know what copal smells like) in the background. But still, the dominant note by far is cinnamon candy. Not really something I, personally, want to smell like. But this was a freebie, so it's all good. It eventually turns into a very lovely scent, all warm and smoky and musky, with a very faint hint of spicy cinnamon faintly in the background. But it takes a long time to reach that point, about two hours, and I'm not sure it's worth smelling like Red Hots for that long.

Coyote
Website Description: An Excolo scent. The Native American Creator / Trickster God of Chaos and Change. The warmth of doeskin, dry plains grasses and soft, dusty woods warmed by amber and a downy, gentle coat of deep musk.
In Vial: A sort of salt-water smell, with something sharp very faintly underneath.
Wet: The sharpness develops; it's sort of like strong leather, but without that nasty smell (maybe a tanning chemical?) I usually associate with leather. I definitely can smell something like dried grass in combination with the leather.
Dry: After a while, a floral starts to come in, but not a sweet floral, something sharp and sort of herbal. There's a faint musk backing it. I've had this one for a long time, and it's one of my favorite scents. It's a very subtle sort of sexy, relaxed and content. It reminds me of the way the light gets yellow late in summer afternoons.
