The Tale of Ragnell - the backstory of the Loathly Lady of Arthurian legend. I really adore this take on the character; I love her strength and impatience here.

Merry Fuckin' Christmas - Boondock Saints. There are, I was deeply pleased to discover, multiple wonderful Boondock Saints stories this year, but this one is my favorite. It deals with the unexpected consequences of Connor and Murphy's actions, and has gun-fights and twincest (as any good Boondock Saints story should), is funny and hot and very, very true to the characters. Highly recommended.

all your heart-melodies - Lilo & Stitch. OH MY GOD. This short story is somehow both heart-breaking and so happy. I adore it.

A Perfect Honeymoon - Some Like It Hot. I think this is going to be one of the break-out stories of this year's Yuletide, and it totally deserves it. The story of Osgood and Daphne/Jerry's wedding night, it is queer in about a million different ways and totally perfect.

And to All a Good Night - The Addams Family. Wednesday is in high school when she meets Amanda again. Chaos ensues. This is hilarious and word-perfect in tone.

Charming Women - The Addams Family. Three generations of the family have a chat in the kitchen; Santa Claus is mentioned. A completely perfect Christmas story.

The Way to a Woman's Heart - The Addams Family (shut up, I love this fandom). Morticia and Gomez's romance, as creepy and sweet as it should be.

We Were Her People - a cross-over between American Gods and Gladiator, but you need to know neither source to love this story, and you will love it. The story of gods that did not come to America, this is beautiful and sharp, clearly very well-researched, and so very, very good. I think it's my favorite Yuletide story so far. You really, really need to read this one.

Only the Marvelous is Beautiful - Beauty and the Beast. A sharp, dark retelling of the fairy tale, with a fascinating Beast and perhaps the best Belle ever.
