Who sleeps in bed next to you?
rm. In winter there is also sometimes a sheepskin. Currently there is also two stuffed animals: a whale shark and a manta ray.
Have you ever lied to a teacher to get out of a deadline?
Ha, probably. I don't remember specific instances, but I'm sure I have.
What kind of magazines do you read?
I don't really read magazines. Does The Onion count? I read that every week.
If you could see one band in concert right now, any band, dead or alive, which would it be?
I was talking about seeing Vienna Teng yesterday, that would be awesome.
What's really creepy?
Mayonnaise.
Name one odd item within five feet of you.
Um. There's nothing really odd near me right now. An empty desk? A light switch? My bag? I have some dried hibiscus flowers in my bag! They came in a bag of mixed dried fruit, but I don't like them, so I ate all the good fruit out from around them, and left the flowers.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Sadly, I don't have one. I've been reading 'The Song of Ice and Fire' books, which are very good. I need to watch the new episodes of Merlin.
What are you listening to right now?
A lecture on Paleolithic Archaeology.
What are you most excited for?
Food. I'm pretty hungry right now.
What websites do you always visit when you go online?
First stops: gmail and livejournal. Then I visit my comics, depending on what day it is (SinFest and Medium Large: every day. Penny Arcade, Dinosaur Comics, xkcd, PhD Comics: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Wondermark: Tuesday and Friday). In the morning, I visit my blogs that update once a day (Comics Curmudgeon, Antagony & Ecstasy). Throughout the day, I visit Wonkette.
What was the last thing you bought?
A small green tea, and tomato and cheese sandwich from Barnes & Nobles.
What's your favorite season?
Summer
Does the weather affect your mood?
Sometimes. Cold and rain or snow, particularly.
What is your zodiac sign?
Aries.
Do you want to learn another language?
I've picked up some Arabic in the last year, and I like it a lot; I'd really love to learn more. However, it would probably be more useful for me to learn Hindi or another Indian language, most likely Punjabi or Gujarati. Also, my French and Japanese have almost disappeared due to not using them, so I'd like to get better at those. So much to learn!
5 things (not people) you can't live without?
My laptop. Books. A big bag to carry all my things. Food. Tea.
Do you have any siblings?
A little brother.
What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
Man, those readings were stupid.
What's your earliest memory?
Hmmm, it's hard for me to tell which memory was earliest. A couple very old ones: I remember swimming in a small pool, with clear blue water, near the stairs, as someone watched me. I remember walking by a tree that had been struck by lightening, and was burnt black. I remember running down the street with a blond, curly-haired boy.
