For NYC people: there is a rally tonight in response to the situation in Iran at Union Square, 7-9 pm. Similar rallies are also on in DC, Philadelphia, Portland, Iowa City, and Irvine CA. Details here.

The facebook page seems to be the center of the organization (*siiiiiiiiigh*), and they currently are expecting 600 people, with a chance of it being mentioned on CBS at 5, and really ratcheting it up. They got the NYPD to cordon off the south side of union Square, apparently.
