A bit of a break, I suppose: doctorate work doesn't need to start for another year at least, but first there are comp exams, and even sooner, it looks as though I'm going to go to Oman in January for 10 weeks or so. So there's quite a lot of stuff scheduled, but it does seem like I'll have a few months with just regular classes and TA'ing.
