I keep posting because I'm bored

Has anyone else ever found a little piece of an old story on their computer harddrive, and couldn't even remember writing it? I just found a fragment of something which I have no memory of: I'm not sure if it's fanfiction or original; the file is labeled D & B, and I have no idea what that might stand for; I don't know if it's a beginning of something or meant to be a finished piece; I'm not even sure if I wrote it, although if it was just something I read, I have no idea why I would have saved it.

It's like a strange little glimpse into part of my subconscious that's no longer there.

On a vaguely related note, are there any interesting ficathons going on right now? I want to write something, but have no particular ideas. I keep being tempted to take drabble requests, but I have so many old ones I never wrote that I'd feel guilty.

Once upon a time, writers filled note books with scraps and snippets of writing, and hid them in boxes, so they could be confused by them years later. At least computer scraps and snippets are legible.
