They're longer and much more fic-exchangey. I mean, yes, people turned in requests for springkink, but the way it's being run de-emphasizes that aspect, so it's much less as though you're writing the story for the person who made the request. Whereas with Yaoi Challenge, you are specifically writing for someone else.
