brigdhFirst of all, I know I owe so many people replies to comments. I'll do that soon, really, I've just been so busy the last few days.
I was supposed to fly back to New York last night. When I got up yesterday morning, there was already a message on my phone saying my flight had been canceled and that they'd gotten me a seat on another flight an hour later. No big deal; I show up at the airport at the appropriate time and try to check in, only to have the machine tell me that this flight had also been canceled. I went to see one of the agents, who began calling other airline to try and find a seat on any plane, to any of New York's airports. The only one she could find included a stopover in Chicago (for those of you not familiar with Midwestern geography, that would entail going two states further away from New York than where I was), with only twenty minutes to make the connection. And the flight to Chicago was already delayed. Since I had no particular desire to spend last night sleeping in the Chicago airport- and that was what it looked like would happen if the wind so much as blew- I asked her to see what they had available today instead.
My flight this morning was supposed to leave at 10. It was, unsurprisingly, also delayed.
But I am finally back again! And how are you all?
