New campers at campfuckudie!

We have Tokitoh (that's both of Wild Adapter's main characters in camp now, but someone should also totally app the yakuza boss who looks kinda like Gojyo and whose name I forget but might start with an S, because I like him), and Mandy (from The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy; you know you love mean, cranky children's shows' characters) and, last but not least, Kami-sama! Ahahaha. Whoever's playing him is awesomely creepy; I love it.

Also, camp wants to know: does Hisoka top? Go embarass the poor boy.

Speaking of cfud, and since today is apparently mpreg day, here is the only mpreg story I have ever read, and it's actually pretty cute and funny.

As a result of the audiography wank, we have a new music community on LJ: lunatunes. The first week's theme is 'songs you want played at your funeral', and I am getting a surprising number of Saiyuki songcalls from it. Who knew there was so much music out there themed around "death is not the end, I will see you again"?

Sanada! And I have a theory that he and Tokitoh are related, based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever except the eyes. So, yeah.

Yes, him! And that's a cool idea. I would like it for the sole reason of bringing Sanada more back into the plot.

Camp very much needs a Nii, though I think the players are hoping for a Kougaiji first. Someone's submitted a Nataku app a few times too, which would be cool.

You probably would not like my plans for Sanada, though. He is a bad, bad man.

Mmm, Nii. He's so sick and wrong and he should not be in camp because the temptation to app a certain other character just to play against him might be too much to bear.

My Hazel hate is deep and complicated and not helped by his fans, who do not seem to get that he is, in fact, a villain, and that Sanzo does not share their infatuation. I don't think I'd be nearly as irked by him if the characterization of my OTC weren't so often warped in the service of pairing them up.

I'm mostly just confused by the Hazel-love in fandom. Before I'd gotten caught up with the manga, I kept wondering when he was going to stop being creepy and, uh, possessed of severe moral issues, and start showing some resemble to the cute, bouncy character I'd seen in fanfics I'd read with him (which, okay, not that many).

I don't mind him as a villian, but I still have no idea where the innocent version of him is coming from.

I think it's the result of people taking him at face value. Which, you know, whatever blows your kilt up, but the thing that gets me is that Sanzo does not, it's explicit in the canon he doesn't, and they completely mangle his character to pair the two up.

Yep! Here's (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/941922.html) the fandom_wank post, and then the mod responded here (http://community.livejournal.com/audiography/1301641.html). That'll cover most of the details, though there's some other scattered stuff in posts around from last week.

But yeah, it was a very subtle wank, because most of it went on in comments rather than posts, and there was a lot of deleting, so it was easy to miss if you didn't already know it was happening.

Heh. Possibly not; camp's Hisoka is much less, um, aggressive and jaded than my interpretation, and probably yours also. It's a cute post nonetheless though, if you'd like to look. The poll is not about if he tops Tsuzuki, by the way, but another character from a manga I don't know.
