It is 12 degrees outside. What the fuck, weather. It was in the 60s on Thursday.

Oh, winter. Why you gotta play me like this? I thought we had a good thing going on, the last few months. It was in the 50s almost every day, it didn't snow... it was nice almost. But then you stab me in the back like this.

I think we should start seeing other people. I'm not the person I want to be when I'm around you. I don't even have tan lines anymore! You make me so pale, winter. Besides, I just can't stop thinking about summer, so I think it would be better if I followed my heart.

Winter, it's just... I wish I knew how to quit you!

Also, my computer's wireless works again! ♥

Sounds like you're in Kentucky along with me. It was 67 Thursday with a nice warm breeze and now...

...it's snowing inches upon inches.

And I thought Arkansas weather was wonky. This is much worse.

As they say around here: "If you don't like the weather, wait 24 hours. It'll change."

I just wish it would change for the better.

Agreed... I'm not a fan of summer in Arkansas. Not sure how it is here in Kentucky. But in Arkansas it was hot (100 degrees + heat index = 110) and humid with an unforgivingly warm sun. Somedays I love sun. Others I hate it. Interesting relationship I have with him.

I'm more of a fall weather person. Long sleeves and cool, but not cold, air. Spring has too many insects that think I'm as tasty as the new budding flowers. >.< I've been chased by so many bumbles...

Mmm, see, that sounds good to me. I adore summer, and the hotter and more humid, the better. Tank tops and shorts and flip flops and swimsuits- oh, yeah. I'm so sick of all my winter clothes.

Though I would assume Kentucky wouldn't be quite as warm as Arkansas, since you're further north.

Blegh. That's where we differ. I wear pants and long sleeves in the summer so it's very hot for me. I love long sleeve weather. Sometimes I'll wear short sleeve, but I burn so easily and I really hate my image so I hide as much as possible.

::grins::

I might have a suggestion or two.

*laughs* Yeah, yeah. Believe me, if I could come up with an excuse to move to California, I would. I'm already bitter enough that I couldn't find a grad school with my program anywhere warm.

::snicker::

I wonder what the hate!sex would be like.

While I have to admit I love the look of winter -- bare tree as dark lines against the sky, and pale, low angle sunlight -- I'm with you all the way about cold being utterly sucky.

Ha! Unfortunately it involves too many gloves and scarves and bulky sweaters to be very interesting.

It is very pretty. If I could only look at it through windows and never had to actually go out in it, I'd like winter.
