and now back to the beginning

polybigbang story! I have no idea why this has been so difficult and endless to write; it didn't seem like such a challenging idea! (Honestly, I suspect it's the effect of the season: my SAD revving up and the antidepressants not quite kicked in.)
BUT. It's okay. Because now I have a draft at least! And it's 13.7k words, by far the longest thing I've ever written. Nearly twice as long as the next longest story, in fact. Of course, it's not yet good, but you know. That's the next step.
