Short Link-blogging
Jan. 18th, 2007 05:06 pmThe effects of drugs and alcohol on spider webs: watch this video. No, I don't care if you hate spiders and are bored by nature documentaries. Watch this anyway. It's short, and so, so worth it. Via

Go talk to
rm about what fantasy and sci-fi literature means to you.
And the real reason I'm being too lazy to wait to accumulate enough links for a longer post:
juleskicks's "Tell Me What to Create Anonymeme"! The rules are simple. You comment with your username, and people can tell you what they want to see you write. Or draw, or vid, or icon, whatever. Despite the name, they don't have to do it anonymously, though of course they certainly can. You then go through the comments and if you see that person who you've always wanted to write a Green Arrow AU set in the Terror, where Ollie is a Scarlet Pimpernel-esque figure, smuggling people out of Paris, then you tell them that they should write it.
I, of course, do not promise to actually write anything anyone suggests, but feel free to try to inspire me. My thread is here. I am actually writing a story tonight (mainly because most of the rest of the weekend will be doing homework, agh I already have to write a paper by Tuesday), and I always like to get comments while I work on something.
