*squints at you all*

Eeee, my eyes hurt. Far too much smoke in the club. I feel like I've been swimming without goggles all day.

But So! Much! Fun! *squees* I <3 heart clubbing, I do, I do. And I <3 dancing even *more* so.

*dances for your amusement*

Mwahahaha.

Ahem. I am not, actually, drunk, despite all appearances. For alas, we had no cash, and the bar wasn't taking credit cards. But! Who cares? For there was DANCING!
(And kissing, for [livejournal.com profile] minakochan. You go, girl!)

Aaaaaaaaaand it's probably time to go to bed now, since I have a midterm on Monday that I haven't even begun to study for, as well as two chapters worth of Stats homework that I also have not yet begun.

(Super-secret message to [livejournal.com profile] sephyelysian: I finished Chapter One! Totally. And I swear I'm not going to rewrite it anymore, really, this is the end. So it's all ready! *dies of amazement*)
brigdh: (So funny)
I was eating dinner this evening in one of the sub places by campus, by myself, and I had a printed-out copy of a fic with me, to work on editing. I'm sitting there, at one of those tiny booths that only hold two people, with my bookback and giant coat thrown onto the other chair, when a vaguely scary guy walks up. Scary in that sort of 'Is he talking to me, or does he see dead people?' kinda way. And he said, "Do you mind if I sit here?"

I glanced around at the *EMPTY* restaurant, booth upon booth upon booth sitting abandoned, and my itty bitty booth, completely covered with food and notebooks and my fic, which thankfully enough was not open to a sex scene, and said, intelligently enough, "Uh..."

That's okay, because the guy did not want me to suffer. So he interrupted to say, "Have you ever broken any of the ten commandments?" Thank you guy, for saving us from the awkwardness of my not having an answer.

Once again, I had nothing to say. I stalled for time while I tried to think of something that wouldn't get me kidnapped by the crazy people. "I... don't know what all of them are."

Apparently, neither did my guy. He said, "Well, there's 'honor your mother and father', and 'don't steal' and, um... others, but the important one is to 'obey your Lord and God.'"

I nodded, pretending to seem fascinated while I wonder if the people working at the counter would save me if this guy took me hostage. I glanced down at the sheets I'd be writing on, and stealthily move my hand to cover up the boys making out. "Wow."

"Yes. The point is that none of us have kept all of the commandments. But that's why Jesus came, and he died for us. Our sins will be washed clean in his blood."

I nodded again. "That's, uh... wow."

"So you need to accept Jesus as your Savior."

"Yep."

"You need to let him into your heart."

"Right."

He paused. I think he ran out of things to say at this point, since I didn't seem too impressed. "Well. You should think about that."

I was trying desperately not to crack up. "Yeah. Will do."

He hesitated again. "So... you have a good day then." And then he walked away, and I started laughing, trying to cover up the noise lest he come back and talk to me again.
