Nov. 1st, 2003 07:43 pmPeople on my campus are insane. Really.
I had to be up and about before noon today, and there was a... a gathering, right in front of my dorm, of about a hundred people, all dressed up in costumes and face paint, parading around, chanting chants and singing songs. Loudly. And all of this was for our football team, whose game today was not only away, but didn't start until late afternoon.
These people need lives. Or anything to do more exciting than football. But whatever.
And now the fun part: the reason why I had to be up before noon today was so that I could make it to the post office, where my Yami manga had just arrived. *pause for ear-splitting squee* I've been waiting for them to get here for a month and a half, and they finally did! Actually, they arrived yesterday, but apparently I had to be present and sign for them to receive them. And of course I didn't check the mail until after 5:00, by which point the post office had closed, so I had to wait to today to get them. But now I have them!
