The Cliff Notes Version of Genesis, by
city_of_dis. There now. Y'all feel better, y'hear?

Some fic, for anyone who wants it:
bonibaru has a beautiful Hisoka-fic here, which I think is untitled. Um. Right? And she disabled comments, so I could not post my love for it there, so instead I'm going to do it here. Nyah. ( Cut for story spoilers )
Also, in case anyone somehow managed to miss it,
starside has a new Hisoka birthday-fic called Co-Memorate, which is good enough to make me want to offer her my first-born child. If I had a first-born child. This totally satisfies my desire for established-relationship Tsu/His fics, it's just so perfect. And pretty. And funny. And angsty. So go read it! Oh, and download the song she quotes at the end (it's called "I'll Be", by Edwin McCain), because it is so good.

Also,
me_n_thee has a very nice essay on Why Tsuzuki/Hisoka and not Tsuzuki/Tatsumi. I'm very impressed, and not just because she's pandering to my OTP. It's very well done, and since this fandom gets few enough essays as it is, everyone should go encourage her.

I'd like to post that Trick-or-Treat meme, but it's not working for me. *weeps* It only lets me do one person at a time, instead of all ten.

A story: a few days ago, I was sitting in one of the cafeterias, eating lunch. As I'd gone to sit down, I noticed the table behind me was covered with a spread-out newspaper and a dish or two of food. This caught my eye because I was by myself, and thought about stealing the newspaper to read it. But, right after I sat down, I heard someone(s) come and sit at the table, preventing me.
So. I ate lunch, more focused on a book I was reading than the table behind me, but occasionally I'd hear little snippets of conversation, mostly about a crossword puzzle. Things like, "What's a four letter word for a movie that does poorly at the box office?", and a few minutes later, "Oh, that other one must have been 'bomb'! Yeah, now this 14-down fits." But I didn't think much of it.
I finish eating, get up to leave, and glance at the table behind me- there's only one person there. Talking to himself. The entire time. And? He was one of the cafeteria's workers. *dies*
I'm scared.

Btw, Sephy, thanks for recommending this song! It's soooo pretty. (And hee, LJ spellcheck suggests I might have meant 'seamy' or 'seraph' instead of 'Sephy'. Or 'Sec'y', which I have never heard of and have no idea what it means.)

It's raining, and it's cold- in the forties- and is generally just about the worst weather ever. I hate it. All you people who like fall- you're crazy. Summer's the way to go, I'm telling you.
